Cupid’s Snot

One of the perks of living with a unicorn is getting to go on some sweet adventures to magical lands. I am never not up for a trip to The Cotton Candy Kingdom (that’s where my pet unicorn was born and raised). It is known for many things… but one of my favorites is that it is where all of your favorite holiday legends go vacationing. Since Valentines Day is just around the corner, Cupid decided to go on a mini-vaca. Valentines Day is no small event when you are Cupid. It’s a huge responsibility to be in charge of people’s love lives. If you strike the wrong person and a couple pairs off wrong, you could potentially ruin their lives. Talk about pressure.

It was good to meet Cupid for the first time. He was really nice and smelled like candy hearts. He was just kicking a cold though, and had a little sneezing episode while we were chatting. Guys, I know this is gross and so wrong– but his snot was the most beautiful snot I have ever seen. It was bright red and full of glitter! So, and weird as it sounds… it inspired me to make some slime and looked like it. If you are not easily grossed out…. you should definitely give it a try too!

BOWL ONE:

* 2 Cups Red or Pink Glitter Glue (or use clear glue and add glitter and food coloring)
* 1 & 1/2 cups very warm water
* Glitter (If you’d like a little extra sparkle!)
* Rose Oil or Chocolate Essential Oil

Combine the above ingredients in a bowl and mix well

BOWL TWO:

* 3/4 tsp Borax
* 1 & 1/3 cups very warm water

Once the ingredients of both bowls are mixed combine them and mix well. As you mix the ingredients the slime will form. There will be left over water in the bowl which can be discarded. If the slime is at all runny or overly sticky simply dissolve a tiny amount of borax in a teaspoon of water and mix it into the slime.
