Bulletin Board Love

It’s a cold November day here in Colorado. In fact, as I am writing you…. there is a blizzard happening.

I love snow! It makes me so cozy and for some reason makes me want to create and write more than the average day (same with thunder storms). So, while I’m wrapped up in my yellow blanket and sipping on hot chai tea, I thought I would post a simple project for you to do with your kids (or on your own) to bless others this Thanksgiving season.  :)

One of my favorite go-to’s is giving out free rainbows.  Let’s face it, sometimes our days can be…. gray. Why not spread as much color as we can? I’ve been doing that for a couple years now– and as time has gone on I have branched out to making these fun little sign with all sorts of things! The concept is easy. Instead of posting an ad on a local bulletin board or a “missing dog” sign on the corner street light– make something fun for people of tear off and put in their pockets. You would be surprised how much joy a person can get from ripping off one of your free gifts. It’s the best.

Let’s get started….

This past week I had the honor of being a guest speaker for a local Brownie Troop. They are so adorable! They each made their very own “Take What You Need” project to hang around the community to encourage others. They turned out beautiful!
